Style and power at Mercedes…
Mercedes-Benz surprised us not only with the all-new B-class, but also with the very stylish studies of the future A-class. Here you see a photo of the front end of the prototype/styling study of the A Class.

Quite fluent and pleasing lines, and this goes as well for the exterior as the interior. Just look at the accompanying photos.

Here one sees the stylish interior of the A Class design study...
In their impressive show hall, the marque with the three pointed star also showed the SLS AMG roadster,

The impressive Mercedes Benz hall...
and stressed also the emotional and passionate side of car driving by putting the AMG range very much into the spotlight(s).
Soon we will make a special report about Mercedes-Benz styling…and in the meantime, we drive a "classic" C- Class 180 CDI, and we will report soon about our findings.
The Renault Twizy… a future?
For the moment, we have not driven yet one of these electric city two seaters, like the Renault Twizy, for example. We took a closer look at this Renault Twizy, and show you here some photos. Very much a city car, indeed.

The two little seats of Renault's city car. Will we feel safe in this car next to a large truck on city ring roads and tunnels?
We are very keen to experience the “feel” of this car, we will get the occasion maybe in a few months…

For the time being, the new Renault Twingo looks very good as an all-round compact car. It is the first vehicle in the range to feature the brand’s new design identity.
The car will go on sale in early 2012, and includes a number of styling features that were unveiled on the most recent concept cars, and which will become the visual signature of all Renault cars in the future.

Trendsetter for the future: the Frendzy...
Outside, the front end of New Twingo has taken its inspiration specifically from this new design approach. On the bonnet, the Renault diamond is both bigger and significantly more upright. Like the first-generation Twingo, the newcomer features an expressive, appealing front end.
Last but not least there was also a very interesting concept car on show, the Frendzy, which is, as the maker calls it, is a multi-purpose commercial business electric vehicle which doubles up perfectly as a comfortable car. More about this interesting prototype soon…

Interior the the Frendzy certainly leads you to thr road of the future...
There is much more to come about the Frankfurt Show in further issues of this Frankfurt 2011 show report,
